By accessing or using GuardMail (the “Service”), including our website, Chrome extension, and scanning tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

GuardMail is an AI-powered email fraud detection tool delivered as a Chrome browser extension and web application. The Service analyses email and letter content to identify potential scams and provides users with a risk assessment.

3. No guarantee of accuracy

GuardMail uses artificial intelligence to assess fraud risk. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that every scam will be detected or that every flagged email is fraudulent. The Service is an aid, not a replacement for personal judgement. You should not rely solely on GuardMail to make financial or security decisions.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using GuardMail, you represent that you meet this requirement.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Submit content that you do not have the right to share.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service.
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse the free tier.

6. Intellectual property

All content, design, and code comprising GuardMail is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

7. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion. Prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuardMail and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from undetected scams.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
